High-Level Wing Chun Starts With the Right Foundation
West Coast Wing Chun is taught as a connected system. Forms, principles, body mechanics, partner work and application are not separate subjects. Each stage of training prepares the student for the next.
Foundation Before Complexity
Every student begins with Wing Chun Boot Camp, where structure, movement, coordination, relaxation and core principles are established before advancing into the traditional curriculum.
Principle Connected to Application
Students learn why the system works and how centerline, alignment, economy of motion, timing and body mechanics carry from forms into partner training and practical application.
Skill Tested Through Resistance
Progressive partner and pressure training develops the ability to maintain Wing Chun principles when an opponent resists, changes and responds unpredictably.
A Living Lineage
WCWC San Diego teaches Ip Man family Wing Chun through the West Coast Wing Chun curriculum under the direction of Master Bryan Talbot. The school reflects Talbot’s training through both the late Master Ron Heimberger and Master Samuel Kwok while maintaining the WCWC curriculum and teaching method.
