What is a Wing Chun Master?

A Wing Chun Master or Sifu is an instructor of martial arts who has dedicated him/herself to learning the entire Wing Chun system and has acquired great skill and full comprehension in the art.  In our organization, a Wing Chun Master must undergo rigorous training and evaluation.  In addition, they must  acquire a minimum of four hundred hours of Ip Man Wing Chun instructor experience, and are required to participate in advanced instructor training courses as continued education.

Along with Wing Chun, Garrett has a passion for all martial arts and has trained in other styles including, American Kenpo, Shorin Ryu, Tae Kwon Do, Choy Li Fut, and Krav Maga. His exposure allows him to bring in a range of fighting experiences and techniques to work Wing Chun with and against.  Not only does Garrett have a passion for martial arts, but also giving back to the community. He regularly volunteers and has set up scholarships for struggling college students. Garrett and his Kwoon’s motto are, “Respect All, Fear none”.
